Meet Kate

Kate Alexandra Marsden is a figurative painter working mainly in oils. Her paintings stem from the need to convey a feeling. She aims for a subtle tonality and quiet emotionalism.

Kate holds a degree in the History of Art from UCL, where she also took life drawing classes at the Slade. She subsequently studied traditional painting and drawing at The Art Academy and The London Atelier of Representational Art. She has previously had work included in The Royal Society of Portrait Painters and NEAC exhibitions, among others.
